Recently I finished knitting the Movement Tee by Lily Kate France in time for Spring in the UK. I used Knitting for Olive Cotton Merino held double with the recommended needles to get gauge. This is a raglan t-shirt knit in DK weight yarn. It has eyelet details down the sides, which add a bit of interest. And you can knit it with stripes if you want. My pre-project post describes my planning process for this if you want more details on that and my ravelry post is here.

I knit a size 3. My upper bust measurement is 36 inches, which is the recommended measurement to use for fit. I found the pattern to be really easy to knit and the finished object fits me perfectly. It has about 3 inches of positive ease on me which I'm really happy with. In general I like a more cropped fit in my tops so I stopped knitting 5 rows before the pattern says.

Two things I love about this pattern are the folded neckline and arm hems and the eyelet details down the sides. These details really make this project feel a little more special. The yarn choice was also perfect and I highly recommend this for this project. I had 6 skeins of yarn total, 4 in navy and 2 in grey which turned out to be the perfect amount. I have a little left in both, enough that I probably would've been able to do the extra few rows had I wanted it a bit longer. The finished fabric feels so nice to the touch, and I'm really pleased with the result. I'd never used Knitting for Olive yarn before but it was absolutely worth the extra cost.

I loved this pattern. A very successful knit and this will get a lot of wear this year as it gets warmer. I am already eyeing up the Movement Sweater for next year!
